Every year around the holidays, the business world exchanges gift baskets and good tidings. We do things a bit differently. In this case, we released a herd of deer and bison into the creative wild and called upon a chosen few clients and colleagues to join us in creative competition.
The campaign kicked off with a teaser video sent via e-mail. Days later, each participant received a kit in the mail including a numbered game piece that put them on Team Deer or Team Bison.
Rules of engagement gave everyone three weeks to photograph their animal’s adventures and upload images to DEERvsBISON.com. You could submit multiple entries and vote frequently with awards in categories for the best, the worst, the most and more. Prizes ranged from taxidermy to overnight stays in Mule Deer Cabin.
Nearly a thousand images flooded in with hilarious captions to match. Team Deer took home the win.
