For the 14th time, TF7 hosted our Annual Chili Cookoff, with special focus this year on the packet of pain, the harbinger of heat, the chili pepper. The winners of our internal cookoff took on family, friends, and clients to determine the best cooks in town.
The evening kicked off with cowboy cocktails from the “watering hole” as guests and competitors alike enjoyed crackling fire pits and live country music. Everyone’s favorite Old Western trail camp from last year featured a brand new, custom built element—a full scale Saloon, complete with swinging doors for guests to stroll through on their way to dinner.
During the three-course competition, attendees voted via text for their favorite chili, side dish, and dessert, as well as best entry name in each category. Winners received an assortment of prizes, including inscribed tools to aid in refining their craft, as well as bragging rights, which were heartily exercised for the remainder of the night.
