LAX to PDX

Twenty Four 7 is psyched to welcome environmental designer Kyle Kennedy to the team. The man is a thinker. Maker. Craftsman. He hails from Ohio but escaped to New York for a Masters in Architecture from Pratt. He’s knocked out some great work for past clients like J Press, DKNY and The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. Over the past year, Kyle’s been running projects in LA for the likes of Prada and Ferragamo. He’s currently packing up his vintage hi-fi collection and cyclist gear for the move… Read more.

SNAP was a weekend long photoshoot with Sandbox Studios. We invited clients, family and friends to bring their significant others and furry friends in for a 20-minute professional sitting – courtesy of Twenty Four 7. All SNAPshots were delivered on CD… Read more.

Twenty Four 7 is a proud supporter of the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA) and for the fourth year in a row, their gala fundraiser, TADA! was held at the Bison Building. It was a packed house on April 23 where a live auction put awesome items up for bid – like sweet seats to the Bruno Mars & Janelle Monáe concert; a week in Paris; and a 4x8 foot art installation by Ruby Sky Stiler.

Cannonball Contest drenches bystanders.

This is what happens when you have an open bar mere steps from a swimming pool. The e-mail taunts leading up to the TF7 cannonball contest were plentiful and the contestants did not disappoint.

Best Pre-Performance – Kris Wigger
Don’t discount the artistry of this 6-foot-5 former footballer. As the theme song from Star Wars thundered over the sound system,  “Wiggs” paraded around the pool in nothing but a Darth Vadar mask. And swim trunks. He pumped… Read more.

TF7 turns 15.

What better way to celebrate 15 years of mega awesome work together than a heated pop-a-shot tournament? It went down on March 14, 2011 at the Spirit of 77. Somewhere between the shots (of liquor and basketballs), we toasted the anniversary, chest-bumped and ass-slapped. Because that’s what athletes do.

The standing record is 83 points in 45 seconds. If you beat this number, take a picture and e-mail it to us. We’ll buy you a pitcher of beer.

Here are the highlights,… Read more.

A tribute fit for: Only Elliott.

Elliott Hill was a legendary leader in Nike’s Direct to Consumer division. So when he announced he was taking a new position within the company, we planned a grand celebration in Elliott’s honor at the Global Retail Summit in Santa Monica. A 5k run route ended with hundreds of Elliotts. We rolled in food carts, created custom print Elliott-ism t-shirts and dropped in a photo booth for snapshots with cutouts of the man himself.

Event

Nike Design Day goes down at the Bison building.

More than 600 designers from around the world converged at the Bison Building for a day-and-night of camaraderie and creativity. Weeks in advance, carnival style games were conceived and built to entertain the masses. As evening fell, the space was transformed with music, cocktails and a collection of Portland’s finest food carts. In an adjacent space, a video exhibit played content from 50 designers, illustrating diverse styles and perspectives from all corners of the globe.

Who doesn’t love chili – and some heated competition?

No one can recall exactly what brought on the first Chili Cookoff some 7 or 8 years ago. But it’s safe to say it started on a cold, rainy, February day – probably over complaints of hunger pains and taunts from amateur cooks claiming rights to the finest chili. One sign-up sheet and a few custom-designed trophies later, and the bragging rights were up for grabs! Every year, secret recipes, family favorites and the occasional kitchen mishap are consumed by the vat-full. Awards for the best… Read more.

Government Camp

Mule Deer Cabin pounded with blanket of white.

We’re rooted in the Northwest and we love it. That’s why we took a bit of the Northwest to New York. And why we built Mule Deer Cabin at the base of Mt. Hood. It’s a short drive from Portland and a world away from everyday. It’s the perfect place for creative brainstorms, weekend retreats and, of course, a cocktail or two.

We’re psyched for the winter season. Last year we had record snowfall. Check out these pix from last Thanksgiving.
